Set of 20 readers to accompany the McRuffy Phonics and Reading program. They range from eight to fifteen pages. Each book coordinates with new concepts taught during the week, plus gives the child practice decoding words using sounds the child has already learned. The stories give children the opportunity to apply comprehension skills. Starts with lesson 76. On the back of each book is a word list for the book. Children can practice the words in isolation and then read them in context of the story.
