Around the Wicket Gate was written by Spurgeon (Morning and Evening) to those who had some knowledge of the Gospel message but as yet were outside of Christ. Spurgeon makes it clear that to be 'almost a Christian' is a most dangerous state. Here he presents in his own compelling manner the full and free salvation of God through trust in Jesus Christ alone.
