The person whom the church youth group thought was the custodian was very helpful with the Christmas play rehearsal. In fact, he revealed the true meaning of Christmas to them all. After the stranger leaves, the real custodian arrives - much to the surprise of the cast, leaving them to wonder, 'Who really was that stranger?' This simple play is easily adaptable for any size group. No special props are required other than a lectern and a Bible.
