Jesus, as we say in the Creed, is 'Light from Light.' To him, too, we sing from the Psalms: 'In your light, we see light' (36:10) and 'The revelation of your words sheds light, giving understanding to the simple' (119:130). These reflections on the readings for the weekdays of Lent and Easter are, therefore, structured 'in the light of the Lord.'
