The Quarter Mile is designed to be a self-competitive drag race--or wild (riderless) running horses race. If racing in dragster mode, when you answer the first problem correctly, your car screeches off the starting line at 65 miles per hour. From then on, each correct answer increases your dragster's speed by 5 miles per hour. Horse mode works similarly. Your goal is to answer as many problems as possible during the race. The faster you answer, the sooner your horse or dragster will finish the race. A correct answer causes another problem to immediately appear on the screen. Your score is the number of seconds it took you to reach the finish line. The object of the game is to improve your elapsed times by answering the problems faster and faster. Track your progress!
