Contemporary English edition of Ivan Panin's classic translation of the New Testament from the Greek critical text established through his life's work in textual criticism aided by Numerics. This edition puts his work into contemporary language, i.e., 'you say' rather than 'thou sayest'. No changes or alterations other than the modernizing of archaic English and the setting of the book in the commonly used order has been done, and a complete list of every updated word will be found in the appendix. This edition is taken from the 4th printing (1954 printed in Great Britain, Book Society of Canada) and compared with his 1935 revision of his 1914 English translation, with all corrections carefully noted.
