Based on Orton-Gillingham principles, this set of advanced language tool kit cards is designed to help students with language disabilities. 163 cards (4' x 6') provide an overview of the structure, organization, and sound units that students need to master before moving on to more advanced reading and spelling skills. This set features three white card packs delineated by their structure (angled edge patterns) for easy sorting. Sets cover prefixes, suffixes, and roots (stem/base words), and are designed for the teacher to use with the student during drill work. Affix cards feature the affix on the front of the card, with spelling(s), pronunciations in recommended teaching order, and finally the sound unit on the back. Root cards feature the root on the front, and the spelling(s), pronunciation(s), and sound unit on the reverse.
