African-American attorney Adisa Johnson practices at a reputable law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. After a mistake unravels her career, she returns home and cares for her elderly aunt. Her life is never uneventful when, a Caucasian police officer shoots an unarmed African-American man, leaving him in a coma.
