How Shall We Train the Child? was written in the 1920s by a missionary wife with 3 boys and 3 girls. This is the republished version made available from her children at the request of many familiar with her work. With her husband on the mission field in China, Annie Elizabeth Torrance devoted her life to raising Christian children and often was invited to speak of her views in public forums. After being asked to put some of her ideas on paper, she wrote this book.
