What’s Church All About? explores the real questions that young people ask, including their negative and sometimes irreverent questions. It then provides four supplementary chapters based on advanced questions for adults and a vision for the Church of the future. It uses real stories to flesh out the intentions of Scripture and Church teaching, drawing also on contemporary culture and learning. It avoids Church-talk that means nothing to young people, but also unwraps the Church’s hidden treasures in an accessible way. The book has been influenced by both the recent synod on youth and the current discussions in the Plenary Council of the Church in Australia.
