Computer Science Pure and Simple Book 2 builds upon the concepts taught in Computer Science Pure and Simple Book 1. Using MicroWorlds to practice computer command skills, students will learn how to create five more advanced games using procedure inputs/outputs, create a two-to-four page website, learn DOS, basic HTML, and more. Safe surfing instructions are also covered, helping parents to instill computer safety, as well as computer programming, in their children.
Please note! In order to use this curriculum a sold-separately CD-ROM must be ordered; either MicroWorlds EX or MicroWorlds 2.0 may be used. Microworlds EX will run on Windows 98 through Vista, as well as Macintosh OSX 10.2.8 or higher. MicroWorlds 2.0 will run on Windows 95 through XP, and will not run on Vista or on a Macintosh.
