Author Rice Brocks declares that the events of September 11, 2001, provide the church of today a unique opportunity to reach out to the lost and see a nation, even a world come to Jesus Christ. Brocks call this a turning point in history in which entire people groups are especially sensitive to spiritual maters and are looking for answers. The church can no longer bury its head in the sand and pretend that everything is OK. Instead, the church must be ready and willing to carry the message of hope and salvation to a lost and dying world. 'Nations are beckoning to someone--anyone--to come and help.' Brocks says that the church must be who responds to the call.
