Sixth grade students will work through 34 word lists that include 8 review lessons and 3 spelling challenge lessons; lists emphasize Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes. 'Test Your Proofreading,' 'Test Your Spelling Mastery' and 'Test Your Understanding' activities reinforce the word lists through a variety of exercises. Eight poems are included for appreciation and memorization. Approximately 78 pages with an appendix on prefixes, suffixes, and root words. Grade 6.
