The Calvert Grade 2 curriculum is comprised of a teacher's guide and ten student workbooks for each subject. Each full-color student workbook features 3-5 sections, self-test sections, and a final unit test. The teacher's guides include a list of materials needed, instruction on teaching the lesson, alternative tests, and answer keys. Student worksheets are also integrated throughout as needed. The Language Arts program covers nouns, action verbs, simple sentences, types of sentences, punctuation, adjectives, possessive nouns, pronouns, verb types, and tenses.
